November 2002

kokobaz was busy in the weeks leading up to the 2002 midterm elections.
l

Although the process was nothing like the 2001
elections in Pakistan (pictured left), tensions ran high
in the New York State Senate contest for District 26.
kokobaz produced the televised debate between
Andrew Eristoff and incumbent winner Liz Krueger.

kokobaz also produced a multi-camera shoot, titled
"Pollsters, Pundits, and Politics".  Maurice Carroll from
the Quinnipiac College Polling Institute, Micheline Blum
of Blum & Weprin, and Global Strategy's Jefrey Pollock
discussed the latest poll findings, slightly more complex
than the Guyana election process (pictured right).

the Yankees didn't do it this year, but it was
still a blast for
kokobaz to have been on
that cushy field in the Bronx during a
live telecast to LA's Channel One.

l

kokobaz
shot & edited an all-star jam
honoring jazz great
jon faddis (left).
trombonist slide hampton (right),
was 1 of many legends
in attendance doing their thing.
it was an honor to also meet
lionel hampton, who passed away
shortly after this event.
